This stretch has much varied scenic beauty, offering a magnificent viewpoint from an ancient castle set high above the vale, a narrow path under rocky cliffs, the crossing of a lonely stretch of moorland, where a board walk bridges the wet patches, and a descent through woodland and green fields.
