This section embarks on the crossing of the Clwydian Range, which concludes at Bodfari at the end of Walk 14. It is a long range of hills, with a series of hill forts lining the vale to its east. This is described by some walkers as the hardest part of Offa's Dyke path, although the terrain is not particularly difficult underfoot.
The paths are mainly clearly outlined and while there is some switchback walking, the gradient's are mostly not demanding - unless taken in strong wind or sun. Go to Walk 14. |
